Mastelli Ltd. is a pharmaceutical company and was founded in 1952. The company is fully Italian owned and it is still run by the heirs of the founder.

Today, Mastelli Ltd. has a staff of 70.

The headquarters (administration offices and production plant) of Mastelli Ltd. are located in Sanremo (Liguria, Italy)

In 1996 the administration offices and the research and production unit have been moved to a new building, which complies with the latest GMP standards and is equipped with state-of-the-art plant and machinery.

The new facilities comprise clean rooms for the production of sterile pharmaceutical products (vials for parenteral use and ophthalmic solutions); an area for the preparation of ointments, vaginal suppositories, vaginal douches; an area for the production of raw materials and an area for the preparation of cosmetic products. Furthermore, there are dedicated areas for quality controls, both chemical and biological, as well as a R&D department.

The company operates under the supervision of the Italian Ministry of Health and all work is carried out according to GMP and GLP standards.
